The PPA meets every year at an Annual Conference in North America. This meeting runs for two-days and includes professional Workshops showcasing new methods and approaches in paleopathology. We also hold Biennual Meetings in Europe and South American (PAMinSA), in addition to ad-hoc Webinars and Seminars.

Join us in beautiful Denver for the 53rd Annual North American Meeting of the PPA! We will be meeting at the Sheraton in downtown Denver, located at 1550 Court Place. This year’s meeting will include a Tuesday morning workshop “Asking the Right Questions: Practical Applications of One Paleopathology” led by Elizabeth Uhl, Nicole Gottdenker, Håkon Jones, and Jane Buikstra. In addition, Karl Reinhard and Jane Buikstra will chair a symposium “Current Trends and Future Directions of Parasitology in Paleopathology”. As usual we will have Let's Do Lunch on Tuesday and the PPA Student group auction!
This year's plenary speaker is Dr. Michael Strong, Associate Professor and Research at the Center for Genes, Environment, and Health, National Jewish Health who will be giving the talk "A Brief History of Mycobacterial Pathogens: Learning from the past and present."
